trampolineSOUTHERN HGHLANDS TRAMPOLINE CLUB RULES & CODE OF BEHAVIOUR

All performers, parents and friends are required to comply with the Club Rules & Codes of Behaviour.

For the safety and enjoyment of others, Club rules for parents and pupils are as follows:

  1. Athletes are expected to arrive on time for their classes. If your child is unable to attend a training session, or needs to arrive late or depart early, please contact the coaches if any problems by texting 0419 242 886.  Children MUST wait outside the hall until the coaches arrive and can take responsibility for them.  Under no circumstances can they be in the hall or on the equipment unsupervised.
  2. Athletes’ training area is restricted to athletes and coaching staff only.   Children are also not allowed to run around in the hall, or jump on the equipment.
  3. Parents' cars should be parked adjacent to the right hand side of the building.
  4. Food or drink is not permitted near the equipment except water bottles filled with water only.
  5. Children with long hair must have it tied away neatly from face and eyes.
  6. White socks and a T shirt are required clothing. A long sleeved garment is preferable for learning front drops, similar moves, and harness work.
  7. Jewellery may not be worn during class – for the protection of participants and equipment.
  8. Parents are requested to inform coaches of any medical conditions or current injuries relating to their child.
  9. Athletes must behave appropriately and follow the rules of participation as set out by the coach.
  10. At the completion of their class, child athletes must be picked up from the gym by a parent or designated adult. They MUST NOT wait outside the gym. Parents are asked to arrive early to pick up their children from the gymnasium. If a parent has asked a friend or relative to pick up or deliver children, then the coach should be notified of the non-parent pick-up by texting 0419 242886
  11. PARENTS/FRIENDS/RELATIVES IN CHARGE OF CHILDREN ARE ASKED TO ATTEND FIFTEEN MINUTES BEFORE THE START OF CLASSES AND FIFTEEN MINUTES BEFORE THE END OF CLASSES TO ASSIST WITH SETTING OUT AND PUTTING AWAY THE EQUIPMENT, AND TO ENABLE US TO START AND FINISH ON TIME
  12. All entry fees should be paid in advance in order for the gymnast to compete, and for entry forms to be submitted. Requests for refunds for entry fees may only be considered if accompanied by a doctor’s certificate.
  13. Belongings should be kept in a neat and tidy manner and placed either in, or on top of their bag. The Club accepts no responsibility for belongings, and all valuables should be left at home.
  14. If you wish to speak to your child’s coach please do so AFTER the class.
  15. If your child carries an injury, we ask that after you have sought medical advice, you arrange to talk to your child’s coach to discuss the details of the injury and the recovery process.
  16. Only coaches are permitted to fold or unfold the trampolines.  Parents and children may only assist with setup of equipment or mats if under direct instruction from the coach.
